 The National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Exhibition Company "Atakent-Expo", the Association of Publishers, Printers and Book Distributors of Kazakhstan and the "Information System of Book Business of the Republic of Kazakhstan"Bookfund.kz " holds the X Kazakhstan International Book and Printing Exhibition "Along the Great Silk Road".

- literary agencies;

- and many others.

Objectives of the exhibition:

strengthen integration, cultural and business ties between publishers and printers from different countries;
to intensify the exchange of experience, accelerate the introduction of new technologies in book production, printing and bookselling;
to promote the popularization of modern Kazakh books and the strengthening of the domestic book publishing industry, the dissemination of experience between the subjects of publishing, strengthening the position of the national manufacturer in the domestic book market;
to present to potential buyers the entire modern range of book products in Kazakhstan.

Brief information about the previous exhibition:

Over the years of its long history, the exhibition "Along the Great Silk Road" has become a traditional holiday for the national book publishing and printing complex of the country and is an important event in the cultural life of Kazakhstan.

More than 110 publishing houses, bookselling and printing companies from 12 countries of the world took part in the previous exhibitions, including: Kazakhstan, Armenia, Germany, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, China, the Republic of Belarus, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
Within the framework of the event, conferences, seminars and presentations were held with the participation of the Association of Publishers, Printers and Book Distributors of Kazakhstan, the National State Book Chamber of Kazakhstan, the Association of Book Publishers of Independent States, as well as leading industry experts, popular writers and poets of Kazakhstan and Russia.
